Free Accessibility Statement Generator (EAA Compliant)

Generate a ready-to-publish WCAG accessibility statement for your website, tailored to the European Accessibility Act (EAA) public-statement requirement. Free, no sign-up, and entirely in your browser.

How It Works & Methodology

Annex V of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) requires many organisations that provide websites and digital services to publish an accessibility statement explaining how accessible their service is, how to report barriers, and how to escalate a complaint. This generator assembles that statement from your organisation details, target WCAG 2.2 conformance level, contact address and known limitations.

statement = header + conformance status (WCAG 2.2 level A/AA/AAA) + optional known limitations + feedback contact + enforcement procedure + statement date. Site name → subject of the statement Contact email → validated address for accessibility feedback Statement date → must be on or after 2025-06-28 (EAA application date)
Key Assumptions & Scope:
  • Generates plain-text statements only; no HTML is produced or injected.
  • Validation is strict: contact email must be a valid address, website URLs must start with http:// or https://, and the statement date cannot predate 2025-06-28.
  • All generation runs locally in your browser — no data is uploaded to any server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this accessibility statement generator really free?

Yes. It is completely free, requires no registration or sign-in, and everything is generated locally in your browser so your organisation details never leave your device.

Which WCAG level should I choose?

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the most common target for the European Accessibility Act and for most public-sector and commercial website obligations. Level A is a lower baseline, while Level AAA is a stricter enhanced target that few sites fully meet.

Does generating a statement make my website compliant?

No. A statement documents your accessibility commitment and how to report barriers; it does not itself make a site accessible. You must still fix accessibility issues and keep the statement accurate and up to date.
